Hey @disqus_KS8tja0YDr:disqus – it’s pretty obvious what lockers came from homes/families, and what lockers were from garages, or businesses. If for some reason I ever got back into this, I’d avoid anything that obviously belonged to a family and focus on the units that were full of tools, camping gear, sports equipment, etc. There would be less of an emotional ride with those lockers, but those are also the units that can go for the most money. Not all schools have enough room to give each student an individual full-length locker. However, just because you can't fit enough single-tier lockers in the space you have, doesn't mean you have to compromise on personal space. Instead of furnishing your school with large lockers, you can use double- or triple-tier lockers. Both of these alternatives still provide personal space without taking up as much room as larger options. Giving each student their own secure storage space helps protect everyone from property damage. In addition to an appropriate anti-bullying program, proper storage can be a great preventative measure when it comes to protecting students and their property.
Public lockers are available on all floors of the Anderson Academic Commons for short-term storage needs. Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we do that, we can work on getting them off the street.Sorry Reverend Herships, but you are nothing more than an enabler. Initiative 300 does nothing to assist in getting these people off the streets, clean, mental health, employed, skilled....or anything.Perhaps you come from a place where everyone defecates in the streets and leaves dirty needles. Perhaps that does not bother you because you have very low sanitary standards or you enjoy the aroma of human feces as you walk down the sidewalk.Either way, I hope the people of Denver are not so stupid as to pass this ridiculous initiative.
